Comor Burnaby officially closed on Sunday, April 30th marking the end of its 42 year era.
Comor Burnaby was established in 1974 as the original Comor Sports location. It was from this location on the corner of Hastings and Boundary that Comor grew to become the well-recognized and widely trusted ski, snowboard, and bike dealer that it is today. Since its inception, Comor has expanded to become a primary destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts from Vancouver to Whistler to find their new gear.
Comor Burnaby staff and alumni celebrate the stores long history
Current staff, alumni, friends and family joined for a celebration on Cinco de Mayo. The evening was filled with Pinata's, Tacos, and the sharing of memories. Thank you to everyone who came out and donned the Burnaby colours for one last night.
There are many people who deserve credit for the success of Comor Burnaby. Firstly, Thank you to all of the staff members who lent their hard work and dedication to the store. A special thank you to the unanimous Comor Burnaby M.V.P. Glenna Hollier. Glenna was the heart and soul of our Burnaby location and dedicated her blood, sweat and tears to the store. Most of all, thank you to our loyal customers, without you 42 years of business would not have been possible.
Comor's legacy continues to grow upon the success of Comor Burnaby. The future is bright and exciting for everyone involved in Vancouver, Whistler and Online.
