Comor Cycling Club

Comor Cycle Club

The Comor Road Cycling Club was established in 2012, paralleling our company’s new venture into the world of cycling. Our Wednesday Night Road Ride was formed in order to help customers learn the intricacies of road cycling. Since then we've provided a weekly recreational ride throughout the lower-mainland with hopes of growing this wonderful sport. It's here at Comor that education, fun, and friendship have been following our company’s motto-‘Go-Play-Outside’ for more than 5 seasons.

Our Goal: To educate, inspire and open the world of road cycling by providing weekly-recreational group rides to staff and customers.

We also provide our customers an opportunity to rent a road bike, or help them find the right fit and function on any of our floor models-while getting an opportunity to trial that same bike on the open-roads of Vancouver.

Our objective is to get you on the best bike that fits your budget, your riding style and your fashion sensibilities! Anything that helps you to ‘Go-Play-Outside’!

The Comor Cycling Club comprises of 20-30 like-minded Road Cycling enthusiasts who seek a weekly ride in a social atmosphere, where fitness and cycling etiquette meet. Our rides are a great way to understand group formation and technical details that can help you become a more efficient cyclist. Many of our riders have started out as ‘Ride To Conquer Cancer' participants, and have spun their way to great goals and greater distances by competing in Gran Fondos and road races throughout North America.

‘We are the first stroke in your pedals to get you started’!
Please feel free to stop by the shop, call us at 604-736-7547, or contact us by Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram and come out for a spin.

We look forward to meeting you!

*Rides average 1.5 -2hrs of cycling at a fairly fast pace. Road bikes are imperative! Typically, 2 groups will run at two different paces.

*Group #1- usually averages at 33+ kms/hr *Group #2- averages from 26 – 33km/hr.

Beginning in 2016 we also established a weekly mountain bike ride that rides every Tuesday night.  The ride is open to anyone wanting to get a chance to build their skills on the trail.  There is a crew of good riders who come out every week and are excited to help people become stronger on their bike as they all enjoy some of the best trails the infamous North Shore has to offer.  Keep an eye on Facebook and Instagram to confirm when and where the ride will take place each week.

The rides start in May and will run through summer to the end of August.  It is common for the crew to meet at Old Buck Parking Lot on Seymour between 6:15 and 7:00 but it is always good to check social media to see if the location has changed.
