Most fleeces are plain, so the checked, hard-faced surface here stands out right away. You get a midlayer that works under a shell from the first chair to the last run. Zip it up on the lift, then zip it down once the sun comes out.
The Furano Fleece is 90% polyester and 10% elastane, so the fit moves with you on the way down the mountain. A zippered chest pocket keeps small essentials close, and the 2-inch collar adds coverage on breezy ridgelines. Thumb holes help keep your cuffs in place, so your hands stay covered.
