The widest sibling in the Bent family, the Bent 120 is Chris Benchetler’s signature ride—purpose-built for deep days, backcountry creativity, and the kind of freeride lines that blur the line between art and sport. With a generous Powder Rocker and HRZN 3D tip and tail, it floats effortlessly in bottomless snow while staying loose and playful enough to slash, butter, and spin your way through natural features.
At its heart is a poplar Light Woodcore that keeps the ski strong yet responsive, balancing stability with a lively, surf-inspired feel. New construction refinements cut down on weight and reduce environmental impact, with less metal and resin used and more recycled materials integrated throughout. Even the topsheet carries Chris’s artwork, a reminder that skiing isn’t just about performance—it’s about expression. Reinforced with ash wood for extra durability, the Bent 120 is built to keep pushing boundaries, whether you’re lapping pillow lines, touring into the backcountry, or simply chasing the deepest turns of your life. - Shape: HRZN 3D Bent Tip and Tail. The Bent family uses the liveliest HRZN 3D, employing a full wrap tip and tail profile for more playful skiing in freestyle terrain.
- Core: Light Woodcore – Made from poplar wood, this core optimizes the ski's weight without sacrificing any shock absorption or stability.
- Sidewalls: Dura Cap Sidewall – Sidewall for power transmission combined with a small cap for durability.
- Base: Base Edge Angle – 1.0°. Atomic Base – High-density sintered bases that are fast in a variety of snow conditions and accept wax readily.
- Edges: Side Edge Angle – 87°. Atomic Edges – Atomic edges are made from steel five times more wear resistant than standard steel, for strength and perfect grip.
