If you want full face coverage on the mountain, this full hinge balaclava is worth a look. The face panel folds down whenever you need a snack or a sip, then flips back up for the next run. Wear it up the lift and you'll barely notice it's there, which is kind of the whole idea.
The laser micro-airholes are the detail to know about. Instead of one big opening, your breath spreads out through small laser-cut holes, so it doesn't rise straight into your goggles and cloud your lenses. The Polar Fleece breathes and wicks moisture, and it's suited to cold days, roughly −5 to −15°C, so it's a solid pick for a chilly morning.
