The ultimate freeride touring binding, the new Atomic Shift² 10 MN blends powerful downhill performance with a hybrid ski/walk function to access the best of both worlds: pin binding mobility on the way up and alpine stability for the down. A new Micro AFD features a Power Block aluminum insert that integrally supports the AFD while allowing micrometric adjustment for an extremely precise fit with the boot interface. Tested extensively by the Atomic freeride team, the updated binding offers 30% more lateral stiffness for greater power transfer and better overall durability. Larger toe wings deliver improved shock resistance and a massive toe lever adds stability and durability. A sturdier brake lever improves the locking mechanism to avoid unintentional release, and a redesigned climbing aid is optimized to add 4mm of lift to each step. Tour Mode
- Hike and Ride Switch – Lever at toe shifts between hike and ski mode.

Boot Compatibility
- Multi Norm Certified (MN) – Compatible with all adult boot sole types, including ISO 5355 Alpine, ISO 9523 Touring, WTR (Walk to Ride) and GripWalk.
- Tech Toe Fittings Required For Use In Uphill (Touring) Mode
- Requires Boot with Full Heel and Toe Lugs – Not compatible with boots like the Dynafit Hoji Pro Tour and TLT, Atomic Backland, Salomon X-Alp and Arc'teryx Procline, among others. These boots have shortened or non-existent lugs and will not fit into the Shift in downhill mode.
