Cold mornings have a way of making every other layer feel like a compromise. The Essential Balaclava is our best-selling answer to that, offering lightweight warmth that doesn't turn into a sauna once you get moving.
The stretch is what you'll notice first. The 88% polyester and 12% spandex blend moves with your head, so turning to check traffic or glance at the trail never pulls at the fabric. Moisture-wicking material keeps sweat off your skin as the effort builds, and the CoreLayer UPF 50+ Performance Jersey fabric adds sun protection for the days that start cold and end bright. Signature hinge construction keeps the fit snug and helmet-compatible, so it stays put under your lid.
