The Select offers Nitro’s new TLS PowerCord lacing system, which focuses on power and speed to provide the ultimate pro-level fit, lockdown, and foothold with the speed and simplistic power of just pulling up two handles that control the top and bottom section of the boot for a customizable and zonal fit—introducing the new ground-breaking minimalistic locking system combined with coated Dyneema® laces for a powerful lockdown and hyper-speed lacing experience.

• TLS PowerCord - This is Nitro’s latest speed lacing solution and technology with no moving parts for a more precise lock and fit locker, featuring the new coated Dyneema laces. The evolution of the TLS system, with improved locking power and engagement. The combination of minimalistic and functional design with new laces and lace loops offers highly improved laceability, efficient sliding movements, and boot closure.
• Vibram® Outsole with ECOSTEP™ Compound - Vibram grip and traction and an Eco-friendly approach: This is the eco-sole from NITRO …. made of Vibram® ECOSTEP™ Compound, an eco-friendly recycled rubber compound developed by Vibram® and made up to 30% of recycled rubber. The rubber scrap generated by Vibram’s production process is recycled in order to produce Vibram® Ecostep compound. It’s a High-quality compound formulation, which offers a very good Vibram grip and traction on snow while preserving the environment through the waste reduction.
• Air Dampening - Nitro’s trusted AIR suspension technology is now featured on even more models. • Shell Power Strap - Crank down the top of your boot with this easy-to-use feature for more power distribution and response from the top down.
• Armored Shell - To give Nitro’s Select TLS and Select standard boots more support and response, we have designed an internal molded shell. This anatomically shaped and 3D molded piece wraps around the heel and the lateral /medial side of the foot which increases heel fit, shell stiffness and durability.
• Power Tongue Stiffener - For those looking for adjustable stiffness throughout the day or season, you can use our removable tongue stiffener to change between premium precision or more of a relaxed feel. From the steep and deep to the groomers, you can customize your boot feel perfect for your style.
• Zippered Gusset – Nitro’s new gusset construction improves protection from the elements around the lace area on top of the foot and high ankle boot area. It enhances the level of water and snow leakage protection to keep your feet dry and warm while also adding to the durability of the boot and its lacing system (Standard, TLS, or Boa®).
• Internal Ankle Support - An anatomically shaped molded plate distributes lace pressure over the instep and top ankle area. Resulting in more comfort and a better, more precise fit.
• ILS (Internal Lacing System) - Nitro’s ILS system features a lacing harness firmly connected to the boot shell. This harness snugly wraps around the liner, securing it in the shell and providing precise lacing and fit. Our engineered ILS laces provide less friction and a Dyneema® core for added strength.
• Patented Re/Lace Liner Locker - The Re/Lace Liner Locker provides a secure and true liner lace lock every time, while additional allowing for easy adjustability of your inner boot lacing when your boot shell is already tied, by simply pulling up on the lace handle. This allows you to (re)tighten your liner and foothold throughout the day (wherever you may find yourself on the mountain) without having to untie your boots shell lacing system.
• Cloud 9 Liner – Nitro’s flagship liner’s ultra-lightweight pre-molded Thermacell material creates a straight out-of-the-box fit with unstoppable comfort. The new 3D heel construction offers support around your heel area for more impact support while reducing heel lift. Our signature latex heel pads provide a lifetime heel fit, while the new 3D-shaped tongue and Full Frame provide supreme precision and response, developed with the world´s best snowboarders to create the ultimate fit and a new High Cup Triple or Dual-density Ortholite® footbed for maximum cushioning and comfort.
