We love a good comeback story, so we're stoked to see the Magic J return after a season-long hiatus. The Armada Magic J UL Skis offer a new spin on an old favorite, pairing unrivalled freestyle pow performance with an ultralight build for the most playful and nimble feel yet. Laid up with edgeless tips and tails and Armada's featherweight caruba wood core, this pow-surfing specialist has a floaty 126mm waist and enough guts to stomp every landing from here to Hokkaido. Toss in a throwback Scarface graphic inspired by Tanner Hall's signature ski from 2006, and you've got an instant classic. This one is available in limited quantities - don't sleep on it!
Product Details
- Rocker Type: EST Freeride Rocker – Forebody rocker and extra tip-taper combine to create EST for optimized float in the soft stuff. Positive camber underfoot ensures these skis stay on rails when carving is the priority.
- Core: Caruba Core – Armada's lightest wood species keeps the overall weight low while retaining the power and dampness you want while skiing.
- Laminates: Laminate Matrix – Directional layering of fiberglass dictates flex pattern and torsional rigidity.
- Sidewalls: AR50 Sidewalls – Cap construction in the tip and tail and sidewall underfoot, balancing performance characteristics with lower swing-weight and increased durability.
- Base: Comp Series Base – Sintered UHMW polyethylene with added carbon aids in speed and durability
- Edges: Edgeless Tip & Tail / 1.7mm Lightweight Edge – Heat treated, built to avoid excess weight while maintaining durability.
- Binding Compatibility: We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
