The [ak] Dispatcher 35L is Burton's largest dedicated backcountry pack, and it keeps things refreshingly minimal for full-day tours. It's the one to grab on mid-winter days when an extra layer and a water bottle are mandatory. Dedicated pockets for your climbing skins and avalanche tools mean the gear you need is right there when you need it.
A zip opening and full back panel access give you wide entry, so you're not digging blind through the main compartment. The snow-shedding back panel sheds the wet stuff, while a quick-access snow tool compartment keeps your avalanche gear organized. Switching from boot pack to skintrack goes a little smoother when everything has a home.
