The Mantis 1 works well for quick hikes or as a secondary pack on longer trips. You can wear it around the waist or across the body, whichever fits the moment.
The shell uses 100% recycled polyester with a DWR finish that repels moisture, while a Spacermesh back panel keeps air moving against your back. Up front, a zippered pocket with a key clip keeps small items handy, and a stash pocket on the back panel holds your phone.
