The Backland Carbon is Atomic's touring boot, for skiers who plan on earning their turns. At 2,322 g, it's easy on your legs when the skin track keeps climbing. Honestly, that's the kind of detail you notice around hour three.
The Grilamid shell gets carbon reinforcements plus a Carbon Spine for extra support. Two aluminium buckles with a quick-click tongue system are easy to adjust mid-tour. Inside, the full Platinum Light liner is heat-moldable, so Memory Fit shapes it to your foot. The Skywalk rubber sole has a touring profile for walking.
