A comfortable and extremely powerful alpine ski boot, the top-end Atomic Hawx Ultra 130 S GW offers a low-volume, 98mm fit to deliver Legendary Hawx Feel and performance to expert all-mountain skiers with narrower feet. By using the slimmest profile possible and then reinforcing critical power transfer zones, our Prolite technology creates a supremely lightweight, stable boot for hard charging skiers. Completely customizable, a new Mimic Platinum liner can be uniquely formed to the precise shape of the foot. Add easier than ever step-in / step-out, Power Shift, Cuff Alignment and Cantable GripWalk Pads and this boot offers the ideal combination of snow-feel, power, and comfort in an all-mountain boot.
Fit
Last: 98 mm – A narrow last suitable for those with narrower than average feet (heat customizable to fit many average width feet).
Memory Fit – Advanced heat-fitting technology creates a fully personalized shell, cuff and liner in minutes. The key is Memolink, Atomic's special additive that improves the moldability and stretch of their plastics. Expansion can be up to 6mm forefoot width and up to 10mm ankle width, resulting in a permanent and complete anatomical fit in minutes. See your bootfitter for details.
Flex
Flex: 130 – A very stiff flex for maximum power and response, suitable for very fast and aggressive skiers.
True Flex – Atomic's unique True Flex additive helps PU and Grilamid shells maintain a consistent flex and feel in a wide variety of temperatures.
Liner
Mimic Platinum Liner – This is a boot that feels right from the very start. The heel, ankle, and tongue feature a layer of supportive, heat-moldable material. After being softened in the oven, this material mimics the precise shape of your foot and hardens for a perfect custom fit.
3M™ Thinsulate™ Insulation – Keeps feet warm and responsive even in extremely cold and damp conditions.
Shell Materials & Design
Prolite – Instead of starting with a standard construction and cutting material away to save weight, Prolite does the opposite. It starts with the slimmest possible profile and then builds up reinforcements in key areas where strength is needed - like the Energy Backbone down each boot spine.
Energy Backbone – A reinforced, asymmetric backbone providing extra strength for powerful skiing plus enhanced lateral energy transmission for better edge grip.
