Designed with input from the Atomic women’s ambassador team, the Maven 86 C is a mid-width ski that thrives in every corner of the resort, from crisp early-morning corduroy to surprise stashes of soft snow hiding between the trees. It’s light on its feet but unwavering in stability, giving you the confidence to ski with flow and finesse no matter the conditions.
At its core, poplar wood keeps things responsive and lively, while the Carbon Backbone runs the length of the ski, reinforcing every turn with strength and edge hold without adding unnecessary weight. The All Mountain Rocker profile ensures smooth versatility, blending early rise with camber for turns that feel both intuitive and powerful. A uniquely shaped HRZN 3D tip adds surface area where it matters most, helping the ski float with ease when the snow softens.

- Shape: Directional Shape. Flow Profile – Flow Profile blends the perfect amount of rocker and camber for optimal effective edge contact during every turn. Utilizing the latest generation of HRZN Tech Tip, Flow Profile delivers the ideal combination of camber, shovel taper, and tip rocker to create a ski that hooks up on hardpack as well as floats in fresh snow.
- Core: Light Woodcore – Made from poplar wood, this core optimizes the ski's weight without sacrificing any shock absorption or stability. OMatic Construction – The ultimate balance of stiffness and flex throughout the length of the ski. Precision milled poplar wood, lightweight fiberglass, and titanal layer or carbon insets. OMatic delivers effortless performance, balance, and stability from tip to tail.
- Sidewalls: Dura Cap Sidewall – Sidewall for power transmission combined with a small cap for durability.
- Base: Atomic Base – High-density sintered bases that are fast in a variety of snow conditions and accept wax readily.
- Edges: Base Edge Angle – 1˚. Side Edge Angle – 3˚.
- Binding Compatibility: We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
