The Merino Expedition Hood is the warmest merino piece in our lineup, and it covers you from crown to collar. Its 230 GSM Nuyarn® merino keeps you warm without leaving you damp, which matters when the wind picks up on a long descent. Think of it as the layer you won't want to take off once the cold sets in.
Nuyarn® is a twist-free spinning process that gives merino more stretch and durability, so the fabric holds its shape all season. The ExoHinge™ face hinge lets you pull coverage up or down as conditions change, and the flatlock seams sit flat under your helmet and goggles. Nothing fussy, just a balaclava that does its job.
