The Burton [ak] Dispatcher is a 13L vest pack for backcountry days when you want your gear close and your hands free. It hugs your body like a vest, so the pack stays put while you ride hard. Honestly, it's the kind of pack you forget you're wearing, right up until you need your shovel.
Inside the 13 liters, there's room for your shovel and probe, plus an external helmet carry system for the climb up. Chest pockets, including one for a radio or device, keep small stuff within reach, so you aren't digging through the main compartment every time you want a snack. Cordura ripstop nylon keeps the whole thing light and durable.
