The 50/50 name nods to Burton's halfpipe roots, pulling its shape from pipe gloves the brand made in the early 2000s. That history shows up in the pre-curved fit, which lets your hand rest naturally around the bar rather than pulling against the seams.
Insulation and a waterproof shell keep your hands warm and dry through long days on the hill. The extended storm cuff shuts out snow when conditions turn deep, and a goat suede patch on the thumb handles the inevitable nose wipe.
