Andy Coghlan and Mark Heingartner wore the original Powdershell Jacket back when snowboarding meant sneaking onto ski hills that didn't want you there. The 50th 85 Powdershell brings that jacket back for Burton's fiftieth anniversary, keeping the silhouette true to 1985 while updating the fabric underneath.
A 3-layer shell with 20K waterproofing and 20K breathability replaces the original fabric, and taped seams keep water from sneaking through at the stitch lines. The hood removes when you don't need it, and pit zips let out heat when the pace picks up.
