GORE-TEX C-Knit gives the [ak] Hover a softer, stretchier feel than regular GORE-TEX 3L, and it stays just as waterproof and breathable. Reaching and twisting feel natural, which helps on long climbs.
Pit zips let you dump heat on the skin track, and big pockets keep your skins warm between laps. It's one of the lightest shells in the [ak] line, so it's easy to live with on touring days.
