If your young rider heads out on cold mornings and hates a hood that fights with their helmet, the Ridge Kids Hood is worth a look. It's cut to fit over the helmet, so the warmth stays put without bunching up underneath. You get one less argument at the trailhead.
The sherpa fleece outer holds in the heat, and the moisture-wicking mesh liner underneath helps move sweat away once pedaling warms things up. The front panel covers the face, which comes in handy when the wind picks up on the way down.
