Early rides on chilly mornings are where the Ridge Kids Hood earns its keep. It's cut to go over a helmet, so it stays in place instead of bunching up under the lid. That's one less thing to fuss with before the first pedal stroke.
The sherpa fleece outer is ultra-plush and holds in heat, while the moisture-wicking mesh liner underneath pulls sweat away once the pedaling warms things up. The front panel covers the face, which helps when the wind picks up on the downhill.
