The Essential Balaclava is our best-selling balaclava, and there's a reason it keeps earning that spot. It handles cold starts and high-output days alike, with lightweight, breathable warmth that doesn't leave you overheated once the climb kicks in.
The 88% polyester and 12% spandex blend gives it all-direction stretch, so you can turn your head without the fabric pulling back. Moisture-wicking material moves sweat away from your skin when the effort ramps up, and the CoreLayer UPF 50+ Performance Jersey fabric adds sun protection for bright days. Signature hinge construction keeps the fit close and helmet-compatible, so it sits right under your lid. Honestly, that's the kind of detail you stop noticing once it's working.
