If you've ever wanted footage from the powder day that isn't just your own shaky view down the hill, the Deorum RAV Powder Basket is a simple way to get it. It attaches an action camera to your ski pole through the Rapid Video System, so you can hand the camera to a friend at the top and get a view from your own line. It's compatible with GoPro-style mounts and cameras, and the install is quick enough that you won't be fussing with it at the chairlift.
Most ski poles work with it. Deorum has listed the verified pole brands, and if yours isn't on the list, you can send a photo of your pole to Deorum to check. Good news for crews: one camera can be shared between everyone, which means more angles and less time swapping gear.
