The Dakine Kids Scrambler Mitt is for the kid who would rather stay out in the snow than come inside for lunch. Its full-length gauntlet fits over or under a jacket sleeve, so there's no gap at the wrist for snow to sneak through. That's usually the first thing a parent notices after the first snowball fight.
Hi Loft insulation rated 110/280g handles the warmth, and a 200g fleece lining keeps the inside soft against small hands. The shell is 100% polyester with a PFC-free DWR finish, so wet snow tends to bead up instead of soaking in. Synthetic suede palms, 100% polyurethane, stand up to sledding ropes. A one-hand cinch lets your kid tighten the cuff without help.
