Warm afternoons and variable snow are when climbing skins start to ice up and clump. This rub-on wax goes on in the field, so you can sort it out mid-tour instead of waiting until you're back at the car. It repels water and helps keep snow from building up on the skins. Because it's made entirely from plants, there's no petroleum and no PFCs left behind on the hill. The scraper and storage bag come in the kit, so everything you need stays together.
