K2 heard from team riders and retail partners at liftlines from Alpental to Brighton that the Passport's shape was spot on, but some wanted more for higher speeds and steeper terrain. The Commonwealth answers that, carrying over the Passport's geometry with a heavier layup for intermediate to expert riders in all mountain freeride terrain.
The A1 core gets wrapped in a heavier tri-axial fiberglass than the Passport, then layered with K2's patented Spectral Braid, which lets you tune tip-to-tail flex independently from torsional stiffness. A wax infused sintered base keeps your speed up through flat sections instead of losing momentum.
