Assisted Performance, it means you get more out into what you put in: less energy, more power out, more absorption, more comfortable skiing and better on-now contact feeling. It's a mechanical advantage created by 2 innovations: dual pivot and suspension blade. Dual pivot: 1 leverage point and 2 pivot points putted far away from each other, to create mechanical advantage, going to get more you putt in the more you get out. amplify energy in power. engage the full length of the boot. Transmitting the power with less effort, it's assisted efficiency. Suspension Blade: excellent connection between upper and lower cuff, to move together. Absorbing energy with no fix points. Really consistent clean flex. Smooth connection. personalization of the flex: 4 different options of stiffness (adjustable performance). - Assisted Performance System: Shadow is the first skiboot with an assisted performance & suspension system. This system, combined by two innovations: dual pivot and suspension blade, allow you to get more out into you putt in, it's an assisted efficiency. It's about transferring the power with less effort. We obtain 26% of rebound in more, using less human energy and physical abilities.
- Dual Pivot: On traditional boots on the market, you have a pivot point and two fix points very concentrated to each other. With the new shadow, you putt those fix points very far away from each other, so create mechanical advantage, you amplify the energy in power. You will also engage the full length of the boot, instead of concentrated part.
- Suspension Blade: The suspension blade is an external blade, and the upper cuff comes in between. With this new innovation, we have an excellent and smooth connection between upper and lower, to move together. That get you more absorption and suspension but also more power energy into your skiing. The upper elastomer adjust the flex feel upper part of the turn and also the snap and rebound. Offers a progressive growth and adjustable flex. Indeed, by replacing Blade elastomer with soft black elastomer insert provided to soften the flex by 8%.
- Dual Core: Utilizing our revolutionary new process, both soft and rigid versions of the most responsive high-performance plastics are simultaneously injected and targeted to key areas of the boot. The result of this innovative new process creates our proprietary sandwich shell construction – DUAL CORE By sandwiching a softer plastic core within more rigid plastic, we are able to drastically enhance elastic tension.
