The Union Source FC drops the mounting disk entirely, cutting the distance between your foot and the board down to almost nothing. At 1.13 KG, it's the lightest binding Union has ever put out, and every gram removed goes straight into how directly your energy reaches the snow.
The S10 Halo Duraflex baseplate pairs with an FC core and a Hi-Flex HP EVA bushing to cancel vibration without dulling the feel of the board underneath you. Forged carbon shows up in the heelcup and highback too, trimming weight in the areas that usually add the most bulk.
